PropXP uses a trailing drawdown model on all challenge types. The 8% trailing max drawdown starts at 8% below the initial balance and follows the highest balance upward as profits accumulate. Once the trailing floor reaches the starting balance level, it locks permanently — the trader's original capital floor is secured. On a $100,000 account, the initial floor is $92,000. If balance grows to $108,000, the floor rises to $100,000 and locks there. The 4% daily drawdown applies to all plans, calculated at the start of each day based on the previous session's closing balance — balance-based, not equity-based, which is more forgiving. The 40% consistency rule means no single day can account for 40%+ of total phase profit. On instant accounts, the consistency rule softens to 20%. PropXP's trailing model is nearly identical to FundingPips' trailing structure.
